Company health, safety, and environment and quality policy

 

Ghizzoni S.p.A. is involved on a national and international level in the planning, procurement and subsequent laying of pipes and pipelines for the transport of petroleum and other products, as well as the installation of related equipment and pumping or compression stations for its Customers.

Given the nature of the company’s activity, it is the policy of GHIZZONI S.p.A. to comply with coercive regulations, technical rules, company standards, technical practices and good practice techniques aimed at guaranteeing:

  • The elimination of negative effects on health and safety, also through a continuous care to prevent occupational accidents and diseases;
  • Prevention of any effect on the environment
  • That activities are performed in a more than satisfactory manner;

These guide lines are put into practice through Health, Safety and Quality Management Systems, certified by accredited bodies, that allow the organization having an enhanced competitiveness on the international market through continuous improvement of its performance in a way not limited to conformity with regulatory and legislated standards, but also fulfilling Customer’s expectations.

The objectives the Management Systems set for themselves and the determined methods to achieve them are described in a single Documentary system and are periodically subject to review by Corporate Management to verify compliance and constant suitability for Company’s purposes.


The functions delegated to manage mentioned Systems carry out an effective internal inspection activity to point out possible lacks or abnormal conditions and report the results of their analysis directly to Corporate Management, operating independently from other corporate functions.


In recognising that the aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are an integral part of the activity of its Company, Corporate Management provides adequate resources for the implementation of this policy and the meeting of the targets associated with it, in which all employees of GHIZZONI S.p.A, who are made aware of their individual responsibilities, and its partners are involved.
